ELEVATION CERTIFICATES
Starting at $3000
Elevations Certificates are generally required by lending institutions to prove that a structure is not only horizontally out of the Floodplain, but that the lowest floor of that structure is also above the Floodplain elevation vertically. In the state of Montana, in order to not have to pay flood insurance, the lowest floor of the structure has to be 2' vertically above the Floodplain Elevation. The lowest floor is the slab on grade, basement, or crawl space of the home depending on the foundation type.
