A Boundary Line Adjustment is a form of exemption survey that allows you to reconfigure the boundaries between existing properties. If you own multiple pieces of property that you would like to reconfigure, or if you and a neighbor would like to change the boundary between your properties this is more than likely the option for you. A Boundary Line Adjustment survey is not a "creation survey", meaning no additional properties are created and you end with the same amount of pieces that you started with. It simply allows you to move the boundaries to a different location that makes the property more usable to those involved.
